Your Hair (this section is currently being edited)
Your hair is made of keratin. You know- carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen & sulphur...
Gettin' Down To The Dirty! (Wash)
Before washing your hair give it a gentle brushing (I recommend Wet Brush) to loosen any debris from scalp and any hairs that are ready to be shed naturally…
Wet your hair thoroughly and turn water off (conservation tip!).
Apply the recommended amount of Sulfate free shampoo to your palm. Rub your hands together to emulsify product before distributing evenly to your scalp.
Gently work lather up on all areas of your scalp.
*If you have long hair DO NOT FOLD the long ends of your hair to your scalp area to wash… this causes tangling and excess ruffling of the cuticles. Work lather from top to bottom in a “scrunching” manner.
When you are done, rinse thoroughly...

Smoothing Your Ruffled Feathers (Condition)
After thoroughly rinsing the lather from your hair, "squeegee" the excess water from your hair. Put the appropriate amount of professionally recommended conditioner onto palms. Rub your hands together to emulsify product before distributing to hair starting at the ends, working your way up to scalp. Once distributed, work the conditioner down to the ends of hair using your fingers as a "comb". When tangles have been removed, rinse hair thoroughly. Then blot (not wring!) to towel dry (I recommend Softees brand microfiber towels). They totally sssssssuck the water off of your hair and helps to reduce drying time.
DON'T lay your hot tools on this type of towel as the fibers will melt!
*NEVER rub hair between the towel in a side to side manner using friction to dry the hair! This only defeats the purpose of having shut the cuticles down with the conditioner...

**REMEMBER- Wash DOWN- Condition UP!
*After towel drying your hair you may want to give your hair added attention by evenly applying a leave-in conditioner (LIC).

I Am Totally In Love With...
My IZUNAMI Styling Iron!!!
HOT and ready when you want it! Experience the smoooooothest gliding action of the floating plates...
Yeah- so check this out... I used to use a "3-lettered brand" that I thought was "da bomb" and swore up & down that I'd never use another... oops!
This iron heats up crazy mad fast- but for me the best feature on this iron is that both the on/off switch and rheostat dial are located inside of the handle where I can't accidently change the temperature or turn the iron off...
